Haytham began working in oil and gas field in 2008 as a production chemist in Onshore Operations in western desert in Egypt. He started as a chemist in oil, gas and water laboratories for QC activities and chemical management, and then promoted to a team leader by 2010. He promoted by 2014 to be chemical contract holder at head office for all the company concessions related chemicals to ensure the chemical management and QC. His role and responsibilities were not limited for production chemicals management but also reservoir chemistry and the challenges for production sustainability by the technical studies and chemical selections to solve the related issues at well's downhole. Haytham had M.Sc. degree in organic chemistry in 2014 in the synthesis and evaluation of environmentally friend surfactants as corrosion inhibitor. He also got the Ph.D. degree in chemistry by 2020 from Ain Shams University in Bio-jet fuel production and characterization using catalytic cracking of natural oils.
